Things I'm looking forward to in 2010

Here are my top 10 things I'm looking forward to in 2010. At the end of the year I'll list what my top 10 really were!

10. My 'normal' schedule returning. After all the travel, which was well worth it, it's nice to be home and starting work, bible studies, play dates, church etc all back up again. I'm mentally healthier with a schedule :-)

9. Springtime! I love seeing the flowers bloom and the start of warmer days. All the fun things I will be able to do with the girls.

8. February. I guess before spring we have the big (but short) month of February. I love Valentine's day. It's just a fun holiday. Plus Chris and I both celebrate our birthdays in February so we usually do one nice big date and gift for the month...I love February :-)

7. Six year Anniversary in May. Can't believe it will be six years. Seems like longer and then not that long ago all at the same time.

6. Summer Camp! Every year so much thought and prep work goes into summer camp. I'd be lying if I said anxiety doesn't come with it...but in May the staff arrives and then I can't wait to start. Once it's here it's so much fun and rewarding! I'm excited to see God work at camp this summer.

5. Hannah turning 4 and Ava turning 2. Our girls are getting so big! I love celebrating the day they entered our lives!

4. Hannah starting PreK in the Fall. This will depend on a few things but I really hope she can start PreK...or at least a home-school PreK curriculum.

3. Divine Appointments. These have already started! I know everyday is His but some days He makes His presence so evident! "Lord move in mighty way! Let your Spirit guide me and Your light shine through me. Amen."

2. In the name of Jesus our financial goals for 2010 will be met!

1. Meeting our son, Christopher Michael Gomez II or Jr (still picking the suffix) in three short months! I cannot wait to hold this sweet baby boy! Makes me tear up just thinking about it!

Well there you have it...now let God's will be done! I know my vision is so limited compared to what the Lord really has in store for the Gomezes. It will be interesting to look back twelve months from now :-)

Doorway Playhouse

The girls got a Doorway Playhouse for Christmas this year and some matching PJs (and lots of other stuff too). But the Doorway Playhouse was one of the big gifts. It's nice because we were having a problem with Ava always closing their bedroom door and then screaming because she wasn't able to get out. This keeps the door open but she can go in and out all she wants. In these pictures we had moved it to the hallway because they kept pushing their play strollers in and out so we needed more room :-)
The playhouse has a little mailbox and working doorbell (that isn't too loud thankfully)
Ava loves putting on headbands, bunny ears, hats etc. She's a cutie!

Hannah's Point of View
