Hannah is 4!

Our summer is wrapping up but we are still very busy so I'm behind on posts. But on July 7th our sweet Hannah turned 4 years old! Hannah is such a joy and she has such a huge heart...for everyone and everything (especially animals and bugs).

To my sweet Hannah:
I can't believe my little girl is four years old! You are the best big sister in the whole world. You love Ava and Christopher and you make sure they know that each day. God has put a spirit of compassion in your little heart and you already use that gift daily! Papa and I are so lucky God gave us you. Happy Birthday! -Mommy

Little G! Gosh you're already four! You are growing up too fast, other people tell me it goes by fast and I try to slow it down by knowing it's coming but it still flies by. I always say I don't want you to grow up and that I wish you'd stay the age you are at that moment, but I know if that was the case, I wouldn't get to see the sweet little girl you've become today. Thank you for making me sucha proud papa. I'll always be here for you my sweet girl. Happy birthday! -Papa

Hannah's Dance Recital

Hannah had her first dance recital a weeks ago. I'm not sure how much she enjoyed dance...I know she liked seeing her friends and dancing but she would never perform when we would ask her to show us the dance. Strange because she is usually such a little ham! But when the time came to go on stage she went and did her tap dance. I had to promise she could get a fish afterward but she did it! No ballet though...she was done after the tap performance. Here are some pictures. You can tell she is not thrilled during the ballet picture :-)

Family Vist!

A few weeks ago Chris' parents and sister came down to visit us for the weekend. We had Christopher's baby dedication at church that weekend too. It was great seeing family and having our youngest niece and nephew down visiting too. Here are some pictures:

1 month old today!

These were taken right when he turned 1 month old...he is hungry and not real happy but we took quick pictures anyway :-)

CMGII is one month old, super cute and already rolling over from tummy to back! Obviously he does this on accident but this boy can move! Let me tell you! I've never had such a squirmy baby. It will be interesting to see when he crawls and walks because when he is awake he wiggles! Christopher is already over 10lbs and has grown 1/2 inch in length. His sisters love to check on him and Mommy and Papa love holding him. We are truly blessed!

Falling in Love

OK, so some moms may disagree...but this time...infancy...(although REALLY challenging) is one of my favorite times. I get to fall in love all over again! That is the best way to describe getting to know Christopher. With each of the girls I felt the same way. I get to have butterflies in my tummy, I long to hold them, I get SO excited when they are awake and when the focus in on my face and we look at each other I almost cry! We've always said we wanted four kids and would just take one at a time to see how it goes...but I think I'm addicted to this part! Anyway, just wanted to share...more pictures posted after the weekend :-)
